The purpose of this research was a cross-cultural study to investigate the effect of 16 sessions of rhythmic exercises on motor skills, social development and self-esteem of children with developmental coordination disorder in Iran and Türkiye. The statistical population of this research was available among children aged 8 to 10 who had developmental coordination disorder and were studying in schools in Tehran (region 5) and in Istanbul during 1400-1401. 40 people were selected from among the aforementioned statistical population and randomly divided into four groups of 10 people (two groups in Tehran and two groups in Istanbul) and engaged in rhythmic exercises. Data analysis was done using SPSS version 23 software and three-way ANOVA. The results of this research showed that performing rhythmic exercises on motor skills, social development and self-esteem of these children was significant, so we conclude that performing rhythmic exercises based on basic skills can be an effective, dynamic and attractive training method to motivate and Desire to be used in children with developmental coordination disorder and this type of exercise has been able to have more positive effects on improving social skills, self-esteem and motor skills of children with developmental coordination disorder. Also, based on the findings of this research, it was found that the cultural difference and the type of music was not an influencing factor on the factors investigated in this research.
