Background & Aims: The learning organization is one of the controversial terms in the literature of organization and management, psychology and human resource development. Senior managers in many organizations believe that the way the organization learns is a main indicator of the effectiveness and capacity of that organization in innovation and growth. Perhaps one of the reasons for paying attention to the idea of the learning organization is the attention to concepts such as total quality management and re-engineering, which were proposed in the 1980s and contributed a lot to the creation of this idea. Universities, as educational-research organizations, have many duties and functions such as education, research, production of new knowledge and technology, providing strategies for social change and actively confronting global developments. The success of universities in performing these tasks requires that they continuously improve the quality of their processes and activities, including education, and use more effective approaches and methods. Universities must react to these challenges, because the lack of flexibility and quick response to these challenges and environmental changes can be dangerous for the existence of the university. Among the approaches that adapt universities to these challenges is the learning organization approach, and the necessity of turning organizations into learning organizations arises from the fact that with the increasing complexity and speed of environmental changes the lack of Confidence in the environment of organizations has increased, and as a result, organizations need more knowledge and extensive awareness of environmental factors so that they can adapt themselves to environmental changes and developments. Organizational learning is the process of finding errors and mistakes and correcting them, which is achieved through the common insight of mental patterns and knowledge and is based on past experience and knowledge and previous events, hence the purpose of the current research. Investigating the status of learning organization components in Islamic Azad University, Sari branch.
Methods: In terms of practical purpose, this research is descriptive in terms of the data collection method, which has used the contextualization method. The statistical population of the present study is all the employees of Payam Noor University who were working in this center in 1401. Based on the statistics, the total number of employees is 51, and using the sample size estimation table of Karjesi and Morgan, the number of 44 employees was selected by stratified sampling method according to gender. In this research, the standard questionnaire for measuring the characteristics of the learning organizations of Qurbanizadeh was used to collect the data. The standard questionnaire for measuring the characteristics of learning organizations is Qurbanzadeh using a five-item Likert attitude scale. Considering that the features of the learning organization in this research are: 1- Leadership 2- Human resources 3- Organizational plan 4- Organizational culture 5- Mission and strategy. Objects have also investigated these features. Dr. Ghorbanizadeh first conducted a poll of management professors of Tehran universities to validate the tool for measuring the characteristics of the learning organization with the help of the Delphi method, and he also used convergent and divergent validity methods for the validity of the tools, the tool for measuring the characteristics of the learning organization. The result of this type of validity, in relation to the indicators related to 5 categories of characteristics of learning organizations, including leadership characteristics, human power characteristics, organizational plan characteristics, organizational culture characteristics, mission or strategy characteristics, shows that all the indicators are related to the factors related to They are more correlated than other factors. In order to determine the face validity of the questionnaire, the researcher contracted the questionnaire to professors, experts and experts, and according to the judgment of the judges, the face validity of the questionnaire for measuring the characteristics of the learning organization was approved. Dr. Ghorbanzadeh has used the internal consistency method of questions to calculate the reliability of the tool for measuring the characteristics of the learning organization, which is represented by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The above questionnaire has five dimensions. In order to ensure the reliability, using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, the reliability of the questionnaire was calculated as 0.88. Descriptive statistics (frequency calculation, frequency percentage and column chart) and inferential statistics (univariate t test and Friedman test) were used through SPSS 20 program.
Results: : Because the significance level of the variables is greater than 0.05, as a result, all the variables have a normal distribution and parametric tests can be used to examine the research questions. According to the test value (40.99) and the significance level obtained is less than 0.05, so it is concluded that there is a difference between the average state of the components of the learning organization (4.68) and the theoretical average. There is a meaning. Since the average status of the components of the learning organization is higher than the theoretical average, it can be concluded that the status of the components of the learning organization in Islamic Azad University, Sari branch is at a favorable level.
Conclusion: As a result, organizations need more extensive knowledge and awareness of environmental factors so that they can adapt themselves to environmental changes and developments. With the importance that learning has in today's organizations and it is mentioned as the only component of continuing the life of organizations, the necessity of examining the status of organizational learning at different levels, especially in educational organizations such as higher education, is quite obvious. Nowadays, learning is considered the source of gaining points in the field of competition, and the key to organizational success is knowledge; because value is created through innovation and production, and the achievement of this depends on the application of knowledge. In other words, a person equipped with knowledge is considered the key to determining the effectiveness of organizations, the experiences of the past decade show that in the third millennium, the most successful organizations are those that fall under the category of learning organizations. They take using the results of the research, the status of the components of the learning organization in Islamic Azad University, Sari branch is at a favorable level.
