Background: Corona virus is one of the viruses that cause respiratory infections. This virus can appear in the form of a mild disease such as a cold to more severe diseases such as MERS and Sars. Recently, this virus has been named as Covid-19. The disease first started in the city of Wuhan in Hubei Province, China, where several medical centers reported groups of patients with severe respiratory problems of unknown cause.The World Health Organization has introduced this disease as a major threat to physical and mental health because the outbreak of the Covid-19 disease has led to changes in the daily and normal life of families and has a special effect on the lifestyle of families.The spread of Covid-19 disease can lead to feelings of insecurity, anxiety, fear, depression, insomnia and bad sleep, behavioral problems, impulsivity, post-traumatic stress disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder, and it can bring many mental health problems, which are called post-traumatic stress. Since mental health problems can not only have individual complications and costs, but can also cause problems for the family and society. Therefore, knowing the different aspects of the psychological problems of the spread of Covid-19 can provide the basis for effective prevention, education, intervention and treatment for families, professionals and psychologists.

Methods: This research was conducted with the aim of comparing the dimensions of post-traumatic growth in clients who recovered from the disease of covid-19 and those who were not infected in comprehensive health service centers in south of Tehran. This research is a cross-sectional analysis type. The statistical population of the present study included all people infected and not infected with the corona virus during the months of December 1401 to June 1402 who referred to comprehensive health service centers in the south of Tehran. Non-coronavirus patients) were randomly selected and answered the post-traumatic growth questionnaire of Tedeschi and Calhoun (1996). Multivariate analysis of variance tests was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the average subscales of post-injury growth include the amount of personal strength, the amount of realizing the value of life, mental and spiritual changes, the amount of a person's relationship with others, and the number of new opportunities created in people infected with the corona virus, respectively, 90 19/43, 8/32, 22/99, and 24/1, and the scores of these subscales are 24/44, 22/08, 11/23, 26/08, and 02/08 in people not infected with the corona virus. It is 30. According to the results of this research, it can be said that there is a significant difference between the two groups of people infected and people not infected with the corona virus in terms of the post-injury growth variable.The findings of this research can be used to reduce the negative impact of trauma through training that leads to post-traumatic growth.

In explaining these results, it can be said that there are objective signs that post-traumatic growth can be beneficial and effective in several areas. First, survivors of traumatic events who experienced posttraumatic growth immediately after a disaster typically demonstrated psychological adjustment, improved health, longer lives, and increased quality of life which is tried to be addressed in this research. Considering that there are always limitations in life that lead to post-traumatic stress disorder, it is suggested to use trainings that lead to post-traumatic growth in order to reduce its negative impact, and to teach people the variables of post-traumatic growth in the form of skills in society. According to the results of this research, it can be said that there is a significant difference between the two groups of people infected and people not infected with the corona virus in terms of the post-injury growth variable, and the main hypothesis of the current research is confirmed.
