زمینه و هدف: اختلال هماهنگی رشدی یک اختلال بارز در کودکان دبستانی است که تبحر حرکتی، تحصیلی و عزت‌نفس کودکان را تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد؛ هدف پژوهش حاضر تعیین تأثیر بازی‌های حرکتی ریتمیک بر تبحر حرکتی، پیشرفت تحصیلی و عزت‌نفس کودکان با اختلال هماهنگی رشدی است.
روش کار: روش پژوهش حاضر نیمه تجربی با طرح پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون با گروه کنترل بود. نمونه پژوهش شامل 36 کودک دارای اختلال هماهنگی رشدی، با دامنه سنی ده تا یازده سال با روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی ساده از مدارس ابتدایی منطقه 6 شهر تهران انتخاب شدند و به‌صورت تصادفی در دو گروه کنترل (18 نفر) و تجربی (18 نفر) قرار گرفتند. برای تشخیص اختلال هماهنگی رشدی از پرسشنامه مشاهده حرکتی برای آموزگاران (PMOQ-T)، برای پیشرفت تحصیلی از معدل دروس فارسی، ریاضی، علوم و املاء استفاده شد. همچنین برای ارزیابی عزت‌نفس و تبحر حرکتی به ترتیب از پرسشنامه کوپر اسمیت (SEI) و فرم کوتاه آزمون تبحر حرکتی ویرایش دوم استفاده شد. گروه تجربی به مدت 12 هفته و 36 جلسه به تمرین بازی‌های حرکتی ریتمیک پرداختند، اما گروه کنترل در این مدت فعالیتی انجام ندادند. بعد از پایان مداخله متغیرها اندازه‌گیری شدند و داده‌ها با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس در سطح خطای 05/0 مورد تجزیه‌وتحلیل قرار گرفتند.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد تمرین بازی‌های حرکتی ریتمیک تأثیر معناداری بر تبحر حرکتی (000/0 P=، 93/1F=)، پیشرفت تحصیلی  (000/0 P=، 64/61F=) و عزت‌نفس  (000/0 P=، 67/32F=)، کودکان دارای اختلال هماهنگی رشدی در گروه تجربی نسبت به گروه کنترل داشته است.
نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به نتایج پژوهش پیشنهاد می‌شود برای بهبود تبحر حرکتی، پیشرفت تحصیلی و عزت‌نفس کودکان دارای اختلال هماهنگی رشدی از بازی‌های حرکتی ریتمیک استفاده شود.
