زمینه و هدف: دیابت نوعی بیماری مزمن و یکی از شایع‌ترین بیماری‌های غدد درون‌ریز و یکی از بزرگ‌ترین مشکلات بهداشتی در تمام کشورها می­باشد. هدف از این پژوهش تأثیر 12 هفته تمرین هوازی با مصرف لبنیات (شیر و ماست کم‌چرب) بر عوامل خطرزای قلبی-عروقی بیماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع 2 است.
روش­ کار:  مطالعه حاضر از نوع نیمه تجربی بود که 48 نفر به‌طور تصادفی در چهار گروه 12 نفری شامل: (1) گروه مکمل (شیر و ماست کم‌چرب)، (2) تمرین هوازی، (3) مکمل+تمرین هوازی و (4) کنترل تقسیم شدند. گروه‌های تمرین، هفته‌ای سه جلسه60 دقیقه‌ای با شدت  متوسط و گروه های مکمل، با مصرف  200 گرم ماست و 250 میلی لیتر شیر کم چرب هر روز، به مدت 12 هفته انجام گرفت.  48 ساعت پیش و بعد از آخرین جلسه اعمال مداخله، شاخص توده­بدنی، نسبت دور کمر به لگن، فشار خون سیستولی و دیاستولی، قند پایه (گلوکز ناشتا، گلوکز 2ساعت بعد از غذا، HbA1c­ تری‌گلیسیرید و کلسترول­تام، لیپوپروتئین کم­چگال، لیپوپروتئین پرچگال اندازه‌گیری شد. داده های به دست آمده در نرم افزار SPSS20 در سطح معناداری کوچکتر از 5 صدم اندازه گیری شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج تحقیق حاضر نشان داد که 12 هفته تمرین هوازی و مصرف مکمل لبنیات بر فشارخون سیستولی و دیاستولی تأثیر معناداری نداشت. اما شاخص توده بدنی (001/0=p) و نسبت دور کمر به لگن (001/0=p)، قند خون (001/0=p)، (001/0=p)  HbA1cو لیپوپروتئین پرچگال (001/0=p)، لیپوپروتئین کم­چگال (012/0=p)، کلسترول تام (007/0=p) و تری‌گلیسرید (006/0=p) تأثیر معناداری داشت. 
نتیجه‌گیری: براساس یافته­های پژوهش حاضر می­توان ­برنامه تمرین هوازی منظم با شدت معین با رعایت احتیاط، به همراه مصرف مواد لبنی کم چرب را جهت کنترل و کاهش عوامل خطرزای قلبی-عروقی در بیماران دیابت نوع 2، که دارای جمعیتی رو به افزایش هستند، به مراکز سلامت جامعه توصیه کرد.
