Carpal Tunnel syndrome (CTS) is one of the most common peripheral entrapment neuropathy in upper extermity. This syndrome is more common in women. It manifests with pain of the hand, arm and forearme. This study confirms that some patients with CTS have also cervical radiculopathy. In this study 113 patients who electrodiagnostically confirmed CTS were studied for association of radiculopathy. Majority of patients were between 20 to 50 years old. The mean symptom duration was 21.3 month. %16.7 of cases had double crush syndrome (CTS associcted with radiculopathy). |
