Abstract
Quantum leadership, as an innovative and holistic approach, significantly impacts the psychological empowerment of university faculty members. This leadership style, grounded in principles such as systems thinking, creativity, flexibility, and change management, enhances the sense of meaningfulness, competence, autonomy, and influence among faculty members. Quantum leaders inspire faculty by creating visionary goals, encouraging their acceptance of professional objectives, and fostering active engagement within the academic environment. Additionally, promoting an open and supportive atmosphere provides opportunities for innovative ideas, increasing self-confidence and creativity among academic staff.
These leaders reduce anxiety and enhance adaptability by embracing uncertainty and effectively managing changes, helping faculty members cope with professional challenges. Furthermore, by providing opportunities for autonomy and creating a suitable framework for independent decision-making, they strengthen the sense of control and responsibility among faculty. Managing complexities and fostering positive interpersonal relationships in this approach enhances the sense of belonging and cohesion among faculty, improving their job satisfaction.
Findings indicate that quantum leadership serves as a key factor in strengthening the psychological empowerment of faculty members, contributing to improved teaching and research quality in universities. These impacts not only improve individual performance but also play a vital role in advancing organizational missions and achieving long-term university goals.
