Background & Aims: Suicide is a phenomenon which has plagued humans life throughout history from traditional relationships in the past to complex one s in modern life, so it has many consequences in different societies. Studies have shown that people who attempts to commit suicide are suffering deficiencies, emotional disturbance and difficulty in emotion regulation. Previous studies have shown that unified transdiagnostic treatment has effected on variables as emotional disturbance and difficulty in emotion regulation, base on researeh background, there has not been enough studies on effectiveness of unified transdiagnostic treatment on emotional disturbance and difficulty in regulating emotions on people with a history of suicide.The present study is base on investigating the effectiveness of unified transdiagnostic treatment on emotional disturbances and difficulty in regulating emotions on patients with a history of suicide attempts in Tehran neuropsychiatric hospitals.

Previous studies have shown that unified transdiagnostic treatment has effected on variables as emotional disturbance and difficulty in emotion regulation, base on researeh background, there has not been enough studies on effectiveness of unified transdiagnostic treatment on emotional disturbance and difficulty in regulating emotions on people with a history of suicide.The present study is base on investigating the effectiveness of unified transdiagnostic treatment on emotional disturbances and difficulty in regulating emotions on patients with a history of suicide attempts in Tehran neuropsychiatric hospitals.
Results: The results of multivariate Covariance analysis showed that unified transdiagnostic treatment is significant (P<0.05) on the difficulty of emotion regulation and emotional disturbance in patients with a history of suicide attempts referred to Tehran neuropsychiatric hospitals, and the effect of unified transdiagnostic treatment on disturbance. Excitement (F=188.912) and difficulty regulating emotion (F=207.199).
Conclusion: The results of this research showed that unified transdiagnostic treatment using emotional awareness training, learning to observe emotional experiences, recognizing emotions, identifying emotion avoidance patterns and cognitive re-evaluation has reduced emotional disorder and improved emotion regulation in patients with a history of suicide.
