The patient is a 48 years old woman who came to Hazrat Rasul-e Akram hospital with complaint of dyspnea from one month ago. In complete evaluation massive pleural effusion and bilateral abdominal mass was detected.

    The patient has  been operated for bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy and pathologic diagnosis was malignant Brenner tumor.

    Brenner tumor is an epithelial tumor of ovary that is classified as benign, proliferating or borderline and malignant according to histologic appearance. It account for 2-3percent of all ovarian neoplasms the malignant form is rare(2%). The average age of presentation is 60 year and the most common sign is unilateral abdominal mass.

    The prognosis is poor and 56% of the patients will die whithin 3 years after diagnosis.
