fa بررسی اثر قطره هوماتروپین 2% بر روی توپوگرافی قرنیه چشم Ophthalmology پژوهشي Research صورت پذیرفت. ابتدا از هر دو چشم این افراد توپوگرافی قرنیه به عمل آمد، سپس فقط در یک چشم آنها قطره هوماتروپین 2% (6 بار به فاصله 10 دقیقه) ریخته شد. چشم دیگر این افراد بعنوان چشم شاهد در نظر گرفته شد و هیچ دارویی برای آن به کار نرفت. یک ساعت بعد از آخرین قطره از هر دو چشم آنها(چشم شاهد و مورد) مجدداً توپوگرافی قرنیه به عمل آمد.شعاع انحنا و قدرت مرکزی در توپوگرافی اول و دوم در چشم مورد و شاهد بررسی و مقایسه شد.از 39 فرد مورد بررسی، 28 نفر (8/71 درصد) مردو11نفر (2/28درصد) زن با محدوده سنی 39-17 سال و میانگین سنی 7/6 ± 6/29 سال بودند. بعد از ریختن قطره هوماتروپین شعاع انحنای مرکز قرنیــــه به طــــور متوســـط 11/0 ± 13/0 میلی متر افزایش و قـــــدرت مرکزی قرنیه 76/0 ±14/0 دیوپتر کاهش یافت(05/0 < p ).به نظر می‌رسد اثر سیکلوپلژیک قطره هوماتروپین 2% باعث کاهش میزان کشش روی Scleral Spur شده و در نتیجه شعاع انحنای قرنیه افزایش و قدرت مرکزی آن کاهش می‌یابد. <p> ABSTRACT </p><p>The purpose of this study was the evaluation of cycloplegic effect of homatropine 2% on central corneal curvature and power. 43 volunteers who participated in the study were examined. Thirty-nine of them (28 men and 11 women) which had normal eyes with visual acuity of 20/20 and a mean age of 29.6 ± 6.7 years were selected. Then corneal topography was performed on both eyes. After performing corneal topography, a drop of homatropine 2% was instilled 6 times (at 10 minute intervals) in one eye and the other was the control eye. One hour after the final instillation of homatropine 2%, we then repeated corneal topography on both eyes. Central corneal curvature and power were evaluated and compared in series of corneal topographies. After instillation of homatropine 2% eye drop, central corneal curvature increased by a mean of +0.13 ± 0.11mm and central corneal power decreased by a mean of 0.76 ± 0.14 diopter (corneal flattening).
