fa تعیین حجم نمونه در تحقیقات پزشکی DETERMINATION OF SAMPLE SIZE IN MEDICAL RESEARCH آموزش پزشکی medical education پژوهشي Research از جمله پرسشهایی که اغلب پژوهشگران به ویژه پزشکان به هنگام طراحی یک طرح تحقیقاتی با آن روبرو می باشند، تعیین تعداد نمونه هاست، که قضاوت درباره نزدیک تر بودن یافته ها به واقعیت را آسانتر می سازد. انتخاب نمونه ای بزرگتر از حد نیاز برای وصول به نتایج مورد نظر، سبب اتلاف منابع می شود، در حالی که انتخاب نمونه های خیلی کوچک اغلب پژوهشگر را به نتایجی سوق می دهد که فاقد استفاده عملی مورد نیاز به عوامل متعددی از جممله نوع، هدف، (Sampel size) است. چگونگی تعیین اندازه نمونه حوزه عمل و نتیجه قابل انتظار از مطالعه بستگی دارد، که همه این عوامل در مرحله برنامه ریزی باید بدقت مورد ملاحظه قرار می گیرد. در مقاله حاضر به ذکر مواردی پرداخته می شود که انتخاب یک نمونه بزرگ را ضروری می کند و نیز مواردی که انتخاب نمونه کوچک را اصلح می نماید. به هر جهت، در مواردی که حجم نمونه بطور اختیاری انتخاب می شود درصد بروز اشکال در یافته های تحقیق افزایش می یابد. و موجب تصمیم گیری های نادرت خواهد شد، در ضمن باید توجه داشت که حجم نمونه بزرگ نمی تواند طرح نمونه برداری غلط را تصححیح کند. برای تعیین حجم نمونه مورد نیاز علاوه بر فرمولهایی که در کتاباهای آماری وجود دارد در سالهای اخیر از روشهای ساده تری نیز استفاده شده است یکی از این راهها برخورداری از جداول و جزواتی است که توسط سازمان جهانی بهداشت منتشر گردیده است، مثالها و جداول ارائه شده در این جزوات بگونه ای انتخاب شده است که در بر گیرنده بسیاری از روشهای متداول در مطالعات بهداشتی باشد و نه تنها کاربرد عملی مستقیم برای محققان دارد، بلکه دریچه ای به متدولوژی آماری در تعیین حجم نمونه نیز می گشاید <div style="mso-element: frame mso-element-frame-width: 343.4pt mso-element-frame-height: 425.0pt mso-element-wrap: auto mso-element-anchor-horizontal: margin mso-element-left: .05pt mso-element-top: .05pt"><tbody><tr><td style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #f0f0f0 BORDER-LEFT: #f0f0f0 PADDING-BOTTOM: 0in BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent PADDING-LEFT: 0in PADDING-RIGHT: 0in BORDER-TOP: #f0f0f0 BORDER-RIGHT: #f0f0f0 PADDING-TOP: 0in" height="567" valign="top" align="left"><p style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph TEXT-ALIGN: justify LINE-HEIGHT: 16.8pt TEXT-INDENT: 15.35pt MARGIN: 0.45pt 1.65pt 0pt 0.45pt mso-element: frame mso-element-frame-width: 343.4pt mso-element-frame-height: 425.0pt mso-element-wrap: auto mso-element-anchor-horizontal: margin mso-element-left: .05pt mso-element-top: .05pt mso-line-height-rule: exactly" class="Style">One of the questions that most investigators specially physicians encounter when they plan a research project is determining sample sizes. Selecting a sample greater than what is required to obtain the desired results causes wastage of the sources, while selection of very small samples often leads the investigator to the results which have no practical use.
