dir="rtl"><p><span></span></p><p><span>    زمینه و هدف: استافیلوکوک آرئوس، یکی از مهم‌ترین عوامل عفونت‌های بیمارستانی بوده که در عفونت‌های اکتسابی از محیط‌های غیر بیمارستانی نیز نقش دارد. مقاومت دارویی این باکتری به متی‌سیلین که از سال 1961 در بسیاری از نقاط دنیا گزارش شد، باعث گردید که نقش وانکومایسین به‌عنوان آخرین دارو در زنجیره درمان عفونت ناشی از استافیلوکوک آرئوس مورد توجه قرار گیرد.</span><h4 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" dir="rtl"><span lang="AR-SA">با توجه به موارد کاهش حساسیت یا مقاومت به وانکومایسین که به ترتیب از سال 1996 و 2002 میلادی گزارش شده است، هدف از این مطالعه بررسی حداقل غلظت ممانعت کننده از رشد </span><span lang="AR-SA">(</span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt" dir="ltr"><font face="Times New Roman">MIC</font></span><span lang="AR-DZ">‌</span><font style="FONT-FAMILY: " lang="AR-DZ"> وانکومایسین<span style="LETTER-SPACING: -0.2pt"><font face="B Yagut"> در استافیلوکوک آرئوس جدا شده از بیماران بستری و مقایسه آن با موارد جدا شده از بیماران سرپایی می‌باشد.<p></p></font></span></span></h4><h4 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" dir="rtl"><span>روش بررسی: در یک مطالعه مقطعی ـ تحلیلی از فروردین 1385 تا مهر 1386، 200 نمونه استافیلوکوک آرئوس از نمونه‌های کلینیکی شامل خون، خلط، ادرار و ترشحات سینوس جدا شد. سپس با روش استاندارد شده انتشار از دیسک، ابتدا حساسیت آن به وانکومایسین مورد بررسی قرار گرفت و پس از اندازه‌گیری منطقه ممانعت از رشد، حداقل غلظت </font><strong>Background and Aim:</strong><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold">�</span>Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus) is one of the most prevalent causes of nosocomial infections. It is also involved in community acquired infections. The resistance of this bacterium towards methicillin which has been reported since 1961, made Vancomycin the last choice for treatment of Staphylococcal infections.</font></p><p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="Style2"><font face="Verdana">Considering the reduced sensitivity or resistance to vancomycin which has been observed since 1996, this study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the vancomycin MIC values (Minimun Inhibitory Concentration) of S. aureus cells isolated from hospitalized patients and compared with those recovered from outpatients.</font></p><p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="Style2"><font face="Verdana"><b>Materials and Methods: </b><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold">A cross sectional – analytic survey was conducted from 2006 till 2007. A total of 200 S.aureus strains were isolated from various clinical sources including blood, sputum, <city w:st="on" ><p lace w:st="on" >ur</place /></city />ine and sinus secretions. Their susceptibilities to vancomycin were initially surveyed by disk diffusion method. Subsequently, the MIC values of each <state w:st="on" ><p lace w:st="on" >ind</place /></state />ividual strain towards vancomycin were determined by E-test strips, and the obtained data was analyzed by SPSS (V. 11) software.
