fa فراوانی سینوزیت در کودکان با عفونت چشمی و مغزی بستری در بخش کودکان حضرت رسول اکرم(ص) عفونی اطفال Pediatric Infectious پژوهشي Research <h2 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt DIRECTION: rtl" dir="rtl"><p><span></span></p><p><span>    زمینه و هدف: </span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " lang="AR-SA">عوارض سینوزیت، یک اورژانش درمانی تلقی می‌گردد. هدف از مطالعه موجود، تعیین فراوانی سینوزیت در بیماران با عفونت چشمی و مغزی است.</span><h4 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" dir="rtl"><span>روش بررسی: مطالعه توصیفی گذشته نگر موجود، از فروردین سال 1379 تا اسفند سال 1383 بر روی 74 کودک با عفونت چشمی و مغزی انجام گردید و اطلاعات بر اساس </span><font face="Times New Roman"><span dir="ltr">t-test</span><span dir="rtl"></span></font><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " lang="AR-SA"><span dir="rtl"></span> آنالیز گشت. داده‌ها با نرم‌افزار<br></span><span dir="ltr"></span><span dir="ltr" lang="AR-SA"><span dir="ltr"></span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes"><font face="Times New Roman"> </font></span></span><span dir="ltr"><font face="Times New Roman">V 11.5</font></span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " lang="AR-DZ">‌</span><font face="Times New Roman"><span style="mso-bidi-language: AR-DZ" dir="ltr">SPSS</span><span dir="rtl"></span></font><span style="FONT-FAMILY: " lang="AR-DZ"><span dir="rtl"></span> آنالیز شدند.</span><span style="mso-bidi-language: AR-DZ" dir="ltr"><p></p></span></h4><h4 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" dir="rtl"><span>یافته‌ها: از 74 کودک مورد مطالعه، 17 کودک (9/22%) سینوزیت داشتند. سینوزیت به ترتیب در 85/53% و 39/16% کودکان با عفونت چشمی و مغزی وجود داشت. مننژیت، شایع‌ترین فرم عارضه مغزی در بیماران مبتلاء به سینوزیت بود (80%). شایع‌ترین سینوس درگیر، سینوس ماگزیلاری بود (8/58%). بیشترین فراوانی سنی سینوزیت در عفونت‌های چشمی و مغزی در گروه سنی 11ـ5 سال بود.<p></p></span></h4><h4 style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" dir="rtl"><span>نتیجه‌گیری: همراهی سینوزیت به‌خصوص با عفونت چشمی در کودکان شایع است. لذا، توصیه می‌گردد در کودکان تصویربرداری از سینوس‌ها در عفونت چشمی انجام گردد.<p></p></span></h4></p></h2><p></p> <p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="Style2"><font face="Verdana"><strong></strong></font></p><p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="Style2"><font face="Verdana"><font style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #f7f8fc" face="Tahoma">    </font><strong>Background and Aimi:</strong><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold"> </span>Complication of sinusitis is a medical emergency. The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of sinusitis in patients admitted with orbital and intracranial infections.</font></p><p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="Style2"><font face="Verdana"><b>Patient and Methods: </b><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold">A descriptive-retrospective study was conducted from March 2000 to Feb 2004 on 74 pediatric patients admitted with intracranial and orbital infections. Patient information was analysed by t-test.</span></font></p><p></p><p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="Style2"><font face="Verdana"><b>Results:</b><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold"> Out of 74 patients studied, 17 (22.9%) were diagnosed with sinusitis. Sinusitis was observed in 53.85% and 16.39% of children with orbital and intracranial infections, respectively. Meningitis was the most common intracranial complication (80%). The most common involved sinus was Maxillary Sinus (58.8%). The most common age group For association of sinusitis with orbital and introcranial infection was between 5-11 years.</span></font></p><p></p><p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="Style2"><font face="Verdana"><b>Conclusion: </b><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold">Association of sinusitis, especially with orbital infection in clidren is common.
