1.Introduction
Problems in veterans can affect the psychological health of family members and their caregivers; Although these effects may be directly or indirectly in interaction with spouse and children. In general, in addition to the fact that the injured person is psychologically disturbed, the family environment and family cohesion are also at risk depending on him (2).
Among family members, considering that women, as the most important element of every family, play an essential role in maintaining the mental health of the family, therefore, increasing the psychological empowerment of the spouses of veterans, who suffer the most injuries, leads the whole family towards mental health. Be (3). Meanwhile, one of the consequences of caring for veterans is care suffering. Caring suffering refers to the considerable amount of pressure or difficulty experienced by the caregiver or family of the patient, which includes a wide range of psychological, emotional, social, physical and financial problems (4).
In this regard, one of the effective solutions in this field is the use of psychological empowerment methods in the spouses of veterans. Empowerment is the process of empowering people to strengthen their sense of self-confidence and overcome their feelings of helplessness and helplessness, which leads to the mobilization of people's internal motivations to achieve goals (11). Therefore, the current research seeks to answer the question of whether the psychological empowerment package has an effect on the caregiving suffering and resilience of women with veteran spouses.
2.Method
In order to conduct the present practical and semi-experimental research, which was carried out with a pre-test-post-test-two-month follow-up research plan with the witness group, after obtaining permission from the authorities, from among the wives of veterans covered by the Martyrs and Veterans Foundation of Lordegan in the year 1400. 30 people were selected and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. Also, the criteria for members to enter the research include a history of at least five years of living together with a veteran, disability or permanent injury of veterans due to an imposed war, percentage of veterans 50 to 70 percent, age range 30 to 65 years and the ability to read and write (to complete the questionnaire( was research). In addition, suffering from psychiatric disorders, receiving psychological services outside of this study at the same time as the current research sessions, unwillingness to participate in the research were selected as exclusion criteria. It should be noted that the examination of psychiatric disorders in the spouses of veterans was self-reported and they were followed up by asking about the history of referring to psychological and psychiatric centers and receiving psychiatric services. In the following, all subjects completed the five-factor questionnaires of Ormak's caregiving range (1998) and Connor and Davidson's resilience (2003) in the pre-test (18,19). Then, the subjects of the intervention group received the psychological empowerment package that was developed based on the psychological empowerment theory of Thomas and Veltuz (1990) (20) (Table 1).
3.Results
The results showed that the average care range variable of the experimental group has decreased in the post-test phase; While the average of the witness group has not changed significantly. In addition, the average quality of life of the experimental group has increased in the post-test phase; While the average of the witness group has not changed significantly. On the other hand, it was found that the average difference of the three stages of evaluation (pre-test, post-test and follow-up) in the overall score of care suffering and the components of general pressure, frustration and emotional involvement is significant (P<0.01). The difference between pre-test and post-test phases is significant and indicates the effectiveness of the psychological empowerment package on the mentioned components.
On the other hand, according to the results listed in Table 4, the F value of the effect of the independent variable (psychological empowerment) on the components of resistance to negative influences, feeling of social support and faith and pragmatic approach has become significant.
Finally, according to the results of Table 5, which shows that the significance level calculated for the F value in significance tests is lower than the determined alpha value (α = 0.05), it can be claimed that the interactive effect of time on The group is significant. The results of the analysis of variance test with repeated measurements show that the difference in the average of the three assessment stages (pre-test, post-test and follow-up) in the components of general pressure, frustration and emotional involvement is significant (P<0.01).
4.Discussion
This research was conducted with the aim of compiling, validating and evaluating the effectiveness of the women's psychological empowerment package on the caregiving suffering and resilience of veterans' wives. The results showed that the psychological empowerment package is effective on the overall score of the care suffering of the components of general pressure, frustration and emotional involvement of the variables of the care suffering of the spouses of veterans, and its effect was stable in the follow-up phase. In explaining this finding, it can be said that psychological ability has an effect on the evaluation and consequences of experiencing negative emotions; In such a way that people who have lower psychological ability compared to others, show a stronger reaction to stress. In addition, these people have shown weaker coping abilities against distress, and as a result, they try to use strategies that aim to reduce negative emotional states. avoid such emotions (11).
Also, in explaining this hypothesis, it can be said that women who have high psychological ability have the ability to manage crisis in life and can look at issues and problems as a reality, accept it and finally solve it. to try, without showing a negative reaction and causing chaos in their lives and their spouses (13).
Another finding of the current research was that the psychological empowerment package is effective on resilience and the components of resistance to negative effects, feeling of social support and faith and pragmatic approach of the resilience variable of women with veteran husbands and its effect It has been stable in the follow-up phase. In explaining the effectiveness of the women's psychological empowerment program on resilience, it can be stated that by devoting two sessions in the psychological empowerment program to resilience, women with veteran spouses learned the skills needed to strengthen resilience. In the explanation of this finding, it can be said that facing various issues and problems in life, especially the difficulties of taking care of a veteran's wife, if it is accompanied by coping and coping successfully, through the process of strengthening and revision law. Thorndike's effect leads to an increase in the sense of efficiency as well as an increase in people's resilience (25).
