The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating role of emotional intelligence in the relationship between emotional expression styles and emotional schema with emotional divorce in couples who have experienced emotional divorce. The current research was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of correlation type. The population of this research included all married women who referred to counseling clinics in the 1st district of Tehran, focusing on emotional divorce, from which 250 people were selected in a non-random way and the emotional divorce questionnaires of Gutman (1999), Leahy's emotional scamotherapy (2002) ), King and Emmons' emotional expressivity (1990) and Baran's (1980) emotional intelligence.
