زمینه و هدف: درمان بیماری پارکینسون برای پزشکان، بیماران و خانواده‌ها و برای جامعه هدفی مهم می‌باشد. در مطالعات تجربی برای درمان بیماری پارکینسون عموماً از سلول‌های بنیادی استفاده شده است. سلول‌های بنیادی آندومتر انسانی نوعی از سلول‌های آماده و در دسترس هستند که برای تولید نورون‌های دوپامینرژیک استفاده می‌شوند. هدف از انجام این مطالعه بررسی اثرات درمانی کاربرد داخل بینی سلول‌های بنیادی آندومتر بر موش‌های آزمایشگاهی مدل پارکینسون می‌باشد.
روش کار: مطالعه‌ی انجام گرفته از نوع تجربی بوده است. در این تحقیق، از 28 سر موش نر با محدوده‌ی وزنی 30-25 گرم در 4 گروه استفاده شده است. در روزهای 30، 60، 90 و 120 پس از سلول درمانی، رفتار چرخشی موش‌ها مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. همچنین برای بررسی تمایز سلول‌های بنیادی به سلول‌های عصبی از رنگ‌آمیزی ایمونوهیستوشیمی به‌وسیله‌ی آنتی‌بادی Nestin استفاده شد.
 یافته‌ها: نتایج حاکی از آن است که سلول‌های بنیادی اندومتر انسانی به کاربرده شده در داخل بینی توانستند باعث کاهش چرخش موش‌های پارکینسونی بشوند. به علاوه این سلول‌ها  توانستند به سلول‌های عصبی تمایز پیدا کنند.
نتیجه‌گیری: شواهد مطالعه حاضر نشان می‌دهد که سلول‌های بنیادی اندومتر انسانی با باز کردن یک راهکار درمانی برای بیماری پارکینسون می‌توانند علائم حرکتی آن را بهبود ببخشد.
