زمینه و هدف: بسیاری از مطالعات نقش عوامل خطرساز روان‌شناختی و رفتاری را در سبب‌شناسی و فیزیوپاتولوژی اختلالات قلبی- عروقی نشان داده است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی وضعیت روان‌شناختی و تیپ شخصیتی D در افرادی که دچار بیماری قلبی عروقی شده‌اند، انجام شده است. همچنین پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی رابطه‌ی افسردگی و استرس و اضطراب با تیپ شخصیتی D در بیماران قلبی- عروقی انجام شده است.
روش کار: روش پژوهش توصیفی از نوع همبستگی و جامعه آماری بیماران بای پس عروق کرونر مراجعه‌کننده به مرکز بازتوانی قلب تهران می‌باشند که از میان آن‌ها، ۳۷۸ نفر به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. ابزار پژوهش مقیاس اضطراب، استرس و افسردگی DASS21 (Depressoin Anxiety Stress Scale) و مقیاس تیپ شخصیتی دی دنولت ۲۰۰۵ (DS-14) بود. داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 16 مورد تجزیه تحلیل قرار گرفت.
یافته‌ها: یافته‌ها نشان داد بین تیپ شخصیتی D (عاطفه منفی و بازداری هیجانی) و میزان پریشانی هیجانی (DASS) (استرس، اضطراب و افسردگی) ارتباط مثبت و معناداری وجود دارد.
نتیجه‌گیری: عوامل روان‌شناختی بر شدت بیماران عروق کرونر قلب اثر دارند و تیپ شخصیتی D می‌تواند به عنوان عاملی برای ابتلا به بیماری قلبی درنظر گرفته شود. از این رو لازم است به عوامل روان‌شناختی (عاطفه منفی و بازداری هیجانی) بیماران عروق کرونر قلب در برنامه‌های درمانی توجه شود.
